1. ACCEPTANCE OF PROTOCOL

By accessing the CollectingToys Vault (hereinafter, “the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are not authorized to access the system. This service is provided by the Collecting.Toys development team strictly for individual collectors.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

CollectingToys is a free, non-commercial tool designed to help users catalog and track their toy collections. There are no, and will never be, paid accounts, premium tiers, or financial transactions within this site. The service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

3. DATA COLLECTION & PRIVACY

To ensure collector privacy, we only require an email address and a password (or Google Authentication) to create your personal vault.

• We DO NOT request or store: Physical addresses, phone numbers, real names (optional in profile), or banking/financial data.
• Access is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

4. NO WARRANTY & BACKUPS

Use of this service is at your own risk. CollectingToys does not guarantee the permanence or absolute security of stored data.

• No Backup Obligation: The administrator is NOT obligated to perform backups, data exports, or recovery services in the event of system failure, data loss, or site closure.
• It is the user’s sole responsibility to maintain independent records of their collection outside of this platform.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USAGE RESTRICTIONS

Third-party logos and images (e.g., Star Wars, Marvel, etc.) are used strictly for illustrative and reference purposes for the collector community.

The following is strictly prohibited:

• Hotlinking: Direct linking to images or resources hosted on our servers from external sites.
• Scraping: The use of bots or automated scripts to extract data from the vault.
• Commercial Use: Reselling access or using site data for profit-making purposes.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall CollectingToys or its developers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on this site, even if the possibility of such damage has been notified.

7. TERMINATION OF ACCESS

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
